The U.S. Forest Service has maps which provide detailed trail information, plus Schweitzer has several trails as well as Mountain Home Adventures if you don’t have your horse here. There are also unique horses for sale in the area. Every year the International Draft Horse Show has a sale at the Bonner County Fairgrounds with numerous breeds being showcased. Rider Ranch
Family-owned and operated Rider Ranch is a working cattle and horse ranch just 20 minutes east of Coeur d'Alene. The Riders offer guided trail rides February through November (weather permitting) and dinner rides May through the end of September.
